Frequently Asked Questions About the Bodrum Pirate Boat Tour

1- Where Does the Boat Depart From?

Our pirate boat departs from Gümbet Harbor, Bodrum. To ensure you don’t go to the wrong place or experience any delays, our sales representative will send you the boat’s name, the departure location, and the time you should be there via WhatsApp. Don’t worry!

2- What Time Does the Boat Depart and Return?

Our boat departs from Gümbet Harbor between 10:30 and 10:45 AM. It returns to Gümbet Harbor around 05:00 PM.

3- What is the Capacity of Your Boat?

Our vessel is a large, 3-deck boat with a capacity of 100 people. The lower deck is a seating area, while the other decks are for sunbathing.

4- Why is the Boat Called “Pirate”?

When you hear “pirate boat,” you might think the boat is illegal or running unauthorized tours. That is absolutely not the case! 🙂 Pirate tour boats are called such because of their visual concept and resemblance to historical pirate ships.

5- What Hygiene Measures are Taken on the Boat?

Hearing that the boat has a 100-person capacity might make you hesitant at first. However, these large boats are actually much more suitable for maintaining social distance. First of all, since the boat has 3 decks, our guests are naturally divided across three floors, which reduces the common area density per person 🙂 The boat is cleaned twice every day—once in the morning before the tour and once after the return. Additionally, the boat features two separate toilets, so you don’t have to wait in line to use them during the tour.

6- How Many Stops Does the Bodrum Pirate Boat Tour Make?

The boat has a total of 4 stops: Aquarium Bay, Adaboğazı, Bağla Bay, and Camel Beach. We stay at each stop for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour. Sometimes certain bays become incredibly crowded, making swimming less enjoyable. To ensure you have a better experience, we may skip a stop and come back later, or remove that stop from the day’s route and stay longer at the others.

7- How Can We Make a Reservation?

Creating a reservation is very easy and does not require any prepayment. You can call us directly at the number listed below or contact our sales representative via the WhatsApp button.

📞 +90 531 285 11 35

The information we need is the number of people, the tour date, and the name of the person making the reservation. Once we have these details, we will send you the boat’s location, its name, the time you should be at the harbor via WhatsApp, and a digital ticket. Following this process, your spot is reserved. You make the payment in cash on the boat on the day of the tour.

However, we will call you or contact you via WhatsApp about 2 hours before the tour in the morning to confirm your attendance. If we cannot reach you, we will put your reservation on hold. If we receive a positive response, we keep your reservation. In case of a cancellation, we kindly ask you to let us know.

8- Is Credit Card Accepted on the Boat?

Yes, credit cards are accepted on the boat. You can pay the tour fee and for any food or drinks you purchase with a card.

9- What is Served for Lunch?

We serve chicken, pasta, and salad. Unfortunately, there is no other menu alternative. No tour boat in Bodrum provides fish or meatballs as part of the included menu. Therefore, regardless of which boat you join, chicken is the only option.

10- Can We Bring Outside Drinks?

First of all, the Bodrum Pirate Boat Tour is not an “all-inclusive” concept in Bodrum center. You must purchase your drinks on the boat. Bringing outside drinks is strictly prohibited because our staff selling at the bar works on a commission basis and earns as much as they sell. If we allowed outside drinks, it would negatively impact their livelihood.

That being said, you can of course bring basic necessities like water. After all, nobody searches your bag.

11- What Should We Bring with Us?

You can bring towels, goggles, sunscreen, hats, etc. If you wish to use them, you can also bring snorkels, fins, or hand-lines. In short, you can come to our boat just as you would go to the beach.

12- What is the Difference Between the Bodrum Pirate Boat Tour and Others?

The Pirate Boat Tour is more lively and entertaining compared to other tours. While it is especially preferred by young people, it is also a top choice for families with or without children. Since the boat’s appearance captures children’s interest, they absolutely love these kinds of vessels! High-volume music, foam parties, unlimited dancing, and plenty of fun! 🙂

Other tours feature quieter music, no foam parties, and are generally more calm.
