Turkish Night with Belly Dancing in Cappadocia Turkey

The Turkish Night in Cappadocia is a show that displays the most traditional and typical aspects of Turkey, featuring dances, traditional costumes, belly dancing, and music. It includes drinks, dinner, and fruit. The show begins when the cast of dancers makes their entrance and starts performing, including a bride and groom. This scene illustrates how a wedding is celebrated in the traditional Turkish way. The bride, wearing a striking red dress, stays in the middle of the dance floor while the groom arrives to perform various acts for her. He begins by showing his physical beauty, then his physical strength, and finally, he shows her how wealthy he is.

The bride, after having rejected each of these displays, accepts to marry him when he tells her that his heart beats for her. Immediately after, the couple starts dancing and guests are invited to join them.

Belly Dancing in Cappadocia

After some traditional dances from different parts of Turkey, one of the highlights of the night arrives: belly dancing. The dancer enters the stage showcasing her impressive skills and then moves among the tables to invite a man from each table to teach them some basic dance moves.

During the night, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages will be served along with appetizers. The main course will be lamb with rice, a traditional meal at weddings in Turkey.

Some other dances included in the show are the fire dance, the Caucasian dance with knives, and a percussion performance; the night ends around 23:30.
